CALLING ALL BAKERS (home and professional bakers) AND PEOPLE WHO LOVE CAKE!!!!

Please join us at SixTwelve on Saturday, April 8th (one day before Easter). We’re finally bringing back our annual Cake Walk Bake Off and this year’s event is special because we’re renaming it in honor and in memory of one of our all-time favorite humans, Chef Scotty Irani. We’re also adding an Easter Bonnet Contest!

Chef Scotty helped us every year (pre-pandemic) to plan and hold this event in order to help us raise funds for our SixTwelve teaching kitchen; he taught camps and classes to kids and adults and lent a whole lot of support. We would absolutely not be who we are without all of the love and support that Scotty gave to us so we want to celebrate his life in this very fun way!

Brother’s Griiin will be dj-ing our Cake Walk and providing the tunes while the following will be our guest judges for both the Bake Off and the bonnet contest:

Schedule for the day:

• 9am: Contestants drop off cakes

• 10am: Celebrity Judging of cakes

• 11:00am - 12:45pm: Cake Walk

• 12:45pm: Auction of top 3 cakes

• 1:00-2:00pm: Easter Bonnet Competition + a little more party with Brothers Griiin!

all spots for the bake off have been filled, but we still have room for entries for the bonnet contest!

The Cake Walk will equal hilarious fun! Imagine a walking version of “musical chairs” without the chairs.  Each participant (you do not have to bake a cake to participate) can enter a round by purchasing a chance to walk for $5.00/walk and whoever wins receives a cake! 

We can’t wait to see and taste those beautiful cakes and bonnets!
