Sarafina Byrd and Carly Gwin and the Sin

Join us as we continue our First Friday Show Series that focuses on Oklahoma women in music!

Born and raised in OKC, Sarafina Byrd was introduced to Jazz music by her dad at a young age and she’s been surrounded by it ever since. It was not until 2020 when Byrd released her first EP entitled, “Divine Timing” that she grew the confidence to perform on a constant basis. For the last two years, Sarafina has been working to cultivate her sound and connect with her audience.

Sarafina also has a trio band that she performs with often. She describes her sound as Neo-Soul with a kick of R&B/Jazz. She’ll be performing as a solo act at 7:00pm here at SixTwelve on March 3rd!

“A little bitt hippie, a little bit trippy, and a little bit rock n roll,” is how self-identified flower rock band, Carly Gwin and the Sin, describe their sound. The four-piece band is based out of Norman, Oklahoma and they are playing at 8pm here at SixTwelve on March 3rd!
