In September of 2016, seven fourth graders from John Rex decided to compete in Odyssey of the Mind, the largest creative problem solving competition in the world. With no help from their two coaches or parents this team wrote a script, designed their costumes, and made props. They even created a robot gorilla! 

Our team won the regional competition in February, and then placed second in the state competition in March. They have been invited to compete at the world competition at the end of May but they need your help to get there! Please join us for a fun filled, kid friendly fundraiser where we will host an ice cream social, lemonade stand, and live art by the team. 100% of any money spent or donated at the event will go towards the teams journey to Michigan State University for the world competition.
