Inquiry at Home: Parent Workshop

Inquiry is a major buzz word in education right now - but what is it? And can you do it at home? Of course! Inquiry is a fancy word for an in-depth investigation that begins when a person has a question. "What do roly-poly's eat?" The process of finding out may take you to building a habitat. That's an inquiry project, finding out more and discovering new things. Through this workshop you will learn about inquiry projects that have been done in classrooms and gain practical knowledge on how to do inquiry at home!

This workshop is free and geared toward parents of children 3-8 years old.

Childcare will be provided for free, but advance registration is required so that we know for how many kids to prepare. Please fill out the form below if you are planning to bring your children.
