Fountainsun (on tour) www.fountainsun.com

Fountainsun was founded in-larva in Autumn 2011. Gradually approaching rigorous daily practice until the summer of 2013 & currently touring/recording sporadically, continuing to adjust and improve the fountainsong at live concert events and in daily life.
The core members are Fumie Ishii, of Tokyo and Daniel Higgs, of Baltimore. Both committed, through sound and gesture, to participation in a song-sustained state of higher communication with all present at live concert events and in daily life. Stylistically, the duo employs a universal-folkpsalm form, with voice, strings, drums, etc., an “all are welcome” sound. The Fountainsun album, Music Today, is being prepared for release in 2015.

Goatwater Expressway

Tony has worked, and exhibited in many mediums. From surrealistic oil painting, live music photojournalism to pop-art stencilism and found-object assemblage, his portfolio continually developing as he seeks new avenues to manifest his vision. An avid musician, Westlund has begun developing experimental stringed instruments from scrap guitar parts, and strange objects suitable for the purpose at hand. His instruments are the embodiment of Novelity and Propriety.
