Lets grow some fungi this Friday, November 20th at 6pm! After the Rad Mycology workshop we want to get friends together and share/learn the process of growing some delicious and medicinal fungi. This is a new group so we will be learning together! This event/meeting is FREE and open to the public and all skill levels and it's our hope that this will become a monthly meeting.
We are going to start from the beginning! We will be making injection port lids and learning to make liquid culture. Because we are sterilizing (a process taking 12 hours), we can not complete the process until the following Saturday morning, but Paul Mays, your host for this event, will be at SixTwelve on Saturday from 9am to noon, so you're welcome to come back anytime during those hours if you can!
What to bring:
• We need a few camp stoves and pressure cookers
• Half gallon canning jars (we will have these and some liquid culture available for a small fee)
• Potluck dish and reusable plate/bowl
• BYOB
Feel free to share this event!
