Please join us for an interactive parenting experience! During this 2 hour workshop, you can expect to gain confidence in your parenting, learn research-based discipline methods that are both kind and firm, and add tools to your "parenting toolbox" to help guide your children. We will role play responses to challenging behavior, demonstrate positive discipline tools, and introduce problem solving steps to come up with solutions for specific situations, especially alternatives to shaming and punitive discipline. The workshop is facilitated by Certified Parent Educator Lori Ann Gregory of Beyond Peekaboo Parenting. The material is appropriate for parents or caregivers of children ages 8 months through 18 years. Advance registration required, at www.beyondpeekaboo.com/classes; the cost is $30 per person. Childcare including an art activity is available for $5 per child.
